i blew out a fog light and i just glanced under the bumper for 2 seconds cus it was like 99* and the black top was burning me and i've never seen a fog light assambley look like that. (i use to own a celica. just one clip poped off then out came the light) is there a trick or something to this or what?

nevermind, turns out it's very easy. one bolt and it's out, all i had to do was use my brain. durr

I replaced the light bulb on the fog lights and it was a pain to get the bolt off. It was rusted a bit and it is kind of hard to get your hand in a good location. But eventually it will come off. I would recommend you watch out for 2 things though:

1. There are two small screws on the back of the fog lights you have to take off in order to get the cover off, get the correct screwdriver, because they strip and break easily.

2. The wiring that goes into the fog light does not have a lot of slack, so dont pull on it to hard cause you can damage the wires.

yeah. i just changed mine recently. 14mm wrench, one nut that holds each fog. then like mp3performance said, there are 2 screws on the back of the fog. i used a short fat philips screw driver because i didnt have much room for a normal length screw driver. then unplug the 2 ends of the wire then replace your bulb. pretty simple :)

i wouldve taken pictures of the process but i was being attacked by mosquitoes 0_o

yea acculey i striped out one of the little screws that hold the fog light together. i had to drill it out. i was to lazy to get the screwdriver that fit

Does any one know if I could buy just the lense of the fog light? It seems someone kicked mine.. kinda wierd.. but it's cracked now. everything still works. A new one is over 100 bucks!

I know it's a shot in the dark here.. I actualy have to go to a junk yard to pick up a few things soon so I will most likely have better luck here.. but nothing beats new.

No lenses that I know of. Keep an eye on the For Sale section to pickup another fog. If not, Catz makes some good replacment lamps
