FMIC Measurements

As the title says, I'm going for my Own FMIC and piping. Just wondering what would be the best size to get for the FMIC so i wouldn't have to mod the front bumper or anything. Mods include mid-pipe, 3" exhaust, CAI, ION's FMIC measures 24"X5.5"X2.5". Any thoughts on this would be great.

A friend owns a speed shop locally, They're going tobe doing the piping for me. I'll let you know and take pix of the install as it goes.

the hiboost fits pretty damn good and it was 26 x 6 x 2 (or pretty close)

but it all matters where you plan on mounting it.. the farther back you mount it the thicker the core can be...

i just did a custom set up and my core is 28 x 9 x 3 with 3" piping

2" for hotside and 2.25" - 2.5" for coldside...for piping sizes
core size depend on how much power u want out of it but anything bigger than the SMIC is a better improvement

29x9x3 would be plenty big for most cars. Plus it fits in the bumper really well. If your looking to do a custom setup check out this site I've been using to buy all my couplers, Clamps and small items. www.importfabrication.com. nice site it really is but can anyone tell us what bends we would need? i know there are different routs but use the you like and describe it. thanks
