my first time! well i purchased a fmic from spool turbo about two weeks ago. it makes a big difference in the performance of the car. call terry at spool turbo and he can help you. if you have any questions email me.:) :)

yes it took 2nd at nopi last weekend and a be thanks to terry at spool turbo and jeff at goldline. for standing behind me on my msp

hey just curious what you mean by... it makes a big difference in the performance of the car. What other mods do you have as well?

msp chris sorry i have been really busy this week at work to reply back to you. the difference you will see is in performance of the car. i don't know if your car feels slow after you have driven for an hour or so. but with the fmic from spool there is no slow feeling. the colder the charge going from the turbo the the engine meens more power. the car spins the tires right much now in 1st and hard in 2nd. the car also has mbc , fuel reduction kit, and air intake.

thats right! the heat soakage is not there no more with the fmic. it is worth the money. you will enjoy your msp more.

thanks justin

yeah I know about the wheel spin threw 2nd and it is tight.. but I also heard the piping for the intercooler hangs underneath the car.

yes the pipes hang under the front radiator support. but my car is lowered and i have no problems rubbing anything. there is still a good bit of ground clearance.

thanks justin

Did you put a larger rad in too? I heard someone say that once you go with FMIC that you can put a normal Protege rad in.

no i left the stock radiator in with the stock intercooler. i think your idea is a good one i will look at my other protege to see if it will work. that would get rid of the stock intercooler and your car would run alitttle cooler with a larger radiator. thanks man for the info i will ask spool about this on wed.

thanks justin

someone before got a hole in the IC piping because it hung below the car. I think it was someone with the FM kit. Keep your eye on the piping for scrathes and or small holes. At least the piping is SS, so it is pretty strong.

the piping is ss. and as long as i don't act crazy flying in and out of parking lots i won't have any problems rubbing a hole in the ic pipes. thanks man

thanks
justin
