so...i bought some of the cheap mirros off of ebay a long time ago. the kind that have the turn signal leds in them and they can either be hooked up as blue or amber. i have the amber leds hooked up to the turn signals, but is there a way that the blues can be controlled via switch to flash?

Wonder if you could hook them up to your hazzard light switch? lol

If all they need is a 12v power then yeah, just run power from the battery to a switch and then the wire for the blue lights up to the switch. Im assuming its already grounded.

yeah...they are already grounded, but what about the fuses to keep them from being overpowered and how would i make them flash? wouldn't a simple switch just cause them to be constant on?

Yeah. Hmmm, so you want them to flash as they would with your flashers just without your blinkers? Right?

all you have to do is figure out how to run the wiring, but....

run a power wire from the battery to a generic flasher unit, (one of those heavy duty ones for trailers) from the flasher to a switch in the dash, from the switch to the lights on the mirrors, then from the mirrors to a good ground. hit the switch, and BAM!! flashing mirror lights.

correct. i want them to flash independently of the others.

be careful with that. thats totally illegal if used on the street.
