Forget flames... just get a whole ton of stickers for car parts you don't have and plaster all up and down the side of your car, the hood, everywhere. That's what a real racer does

CF hood would not flow at all and serve no purpose.

if you're going to do flames, do color changing flames. red->orange->yellow, so under some light you can't see them at all, but then under others you'll be able to see them or parts of them. people will never know if there are flames there or they're just seeing things

I dont have a P5 but I have a custom paint job. Just to give you an idea.

Flames aren't right for most cars, but I for one think Jo's car looks great. (thumb) As she said, it's your car...do what you want.

anyway i'd much rather do a "black on top" paint job (like in my sig)....if it has a name, i don't know it, so that's the only way i can describe it....my 15-yr old nephew-in-law is extremely talented when it comes to painting...i know...a 15 year old??? but, he's sooooooo talented...anyway, i'll probably get him to do something to my car...he painted a guy's truck that was black on top, red on bottom with a custom tribal division....hard to describe, but it looked awesome....too bad the guy totaled his truck a few months later

so what do y'all think about the black on top scheme? how should it be divided? just a straight line?

oh, and btw, i looked around the internet at other cars w/flames and they do look pretty gay for the most part....don't want to screw up the p5!!!!

best flames I've ever seen on a car were on Ian Ziering's 68 Camaro on "Overhaulin'" on TLC.

But then again, flames normally only look good on older muscle cars.

haha that's Ian Ziering.. I think he was on 90210 or one of those gay shows from back in the day.. he looks like a dumbass cause he had no idea they were doing this to his car and this is when he first saw it..

I'd look like a dumbass too if someone totally hooked up my Protege for me.
