Hi people i'm new to the forum with a Mazda 2 1.3 TS2. :)
I know couple of you guys in europe purchased the FK springs which are INSANELY cheap for springs, i do want a dropping off 40mm on my car for the looks. However the price to me seems too good and just wondering what experience have you guys had from time purchase to now?

I was thinking of getting the FK or apex springs, but i am tempted to lean for the FKs because of the price, but i don't want risk buying them then fit them and they were completely terrible and damage my shock absorbers, the roads over here are okay lot of speed bumps, pot holes and cracked roads.

Would like to hear you guys opinion, thanks.

Hello. I have bought a set of Fk lowering springs since i bought my car(2008) and i am very satisfied with the ride quality. I had no problem for almost 6 years(that means almost 140 000 km). The ride is a little bit bumpier but you will get used to it very soon.

If its 40mm you want, apex is the ones to get, i have had them over a year now and no issues at all, but i did change the rear shocks to gas ones, they were 60 per side and had a garage fit them for small fee. The springs are great, improved handling and tbh they dont feel that much different from the stock set. And ive been over a few bumpy roads out in the countryside, i will warn you thought, be careful with high kirbs and stupidly ott speed bumps. Ive clipped the nose a few times.

Chris
