First new 2010 seen on the street...

I totally agree with both of you .... I bought the blk not only so it wouldnt be so obvious but as well as I have always wanted a blk car but for some reason never bought one (nothing looks like a clean blk car). Its always common for ppl to resist change. As time rolls on new cars will get stranger and stranger looking as compared to cars now and some ppl cant deal with it the younger crowd will get it but as we get older we get a certain mind set that this is what a car should look like. I agree with the level of rudeness ppl seem to be displaying if ya dont like it cool even if you say you dont like it cool voice you opinion but when you say the engineers at mazda should be shot or thats so f'ing ugly you are taking it a little far have a lil respect. Hell I traded my 2003.5 MSP for this car and love this car (except the lack of turbo that my MSP had lol). Jus remember ppl dont outcast ppl jus be cause they have a car you obviously hate remember we all drive a Mazda like it or not....

all front grills are functional on all cars. It's not that I think that it's not functional, but I do not believe that the design was completely the result of function.

Mazda immediately had press and whatnot complaining about the front end when the car was announced. The explanation that the design was a result of making the car better just seem like Mazda making up excuses for why it looks like it does rather then admitting they messed up. People seem to be able to justify bad looks if it's "functional". What I can't believe is that the designers couldn't come up with something better that was also functional and would have avoided this issue completely.

Remember guys, forums are for opinions and crap. It's a good car, I loved driving it. Looks are preference and just personal taste. If you think the few things here are hard to read, don't dare go to a non mazda forum and read what they are saying because I can tell you that non Mazda fans are trashing it far worse. We just want to see Mazda fix our beloved Mazdaspeed and to have it reach it's full potential. This car could be so much more, so much better, it already bests many cars, it just needs a little final touches.
Nobody is going to fix anything if they think we are happy with it by keeping our opinions of it to our selves. Mazda reps are here, I know for a fact. Our opinions here do indeed get heard.

As my sig. states beauty is in the eye of the beholder .... opinions are great and welcome bashing is not needed .... and for the record the reactions to the front are very mixed from many sites i have check (mazda or non-mazda sites).... but one thing still stands this is a great all around car period and thats a proven point.
