I keep a milk crate on each side of the car. That way I can reach 1/2 of the roof from each side, but I have to reposition them from front to back, so it's probably 4 sections. Doing it all in one go would be nice.Depending on how tall you are (I'm 5'10"), I really find something https://www.amazon.com/dp/ (commissions earned) makes quick work of the roof and glass areas. PS: if I had it to do again, I would buy a better quality one, but it gets the job done!
For reaching over the top of the car, I've got a step ladder -- the Little Giant Jumbo Step step ladder. Useful for around-the-house stuff where a mid-sized ladder isn't needed. Very stable. Occasionally comes around on sale/discount at the bigger hardware stores. Allows me to use you normal, high-grade microfiber cloths for the paint and for the sealant, yet tall enough to I'm not dragging my clothing over the paint surface.
