i just finished lowering my car with sprint i took me 4 days because i broke my dam end links stupid rust

Oh werd. Those darn endlinks! because they are teh crap metal - they rust. It is an allen key (that strips) with a rusted bolt. The best way was to dremel the endlink in half and twist the ball off. Cut the nut. Then put a vise grip on the ball and wrench the nut.

Buy new endlink.

Repeat for each strut.

Everything else seems well-thought-out. But those darn endlinks! For a task you KNOW you will have to do (struts at 40K).

[end rant]

Fo real, that's what I was gonna ask! That is some :bs: .

I'm going on strike if that's the case!
(strike)

I'm at 50K and my struts are fine. I lowered with Espelirs at about 40K. I'll prolly replace the struts at about 60-70K.

Two failure modes.
1. Blow out a seal (lower springs help induce this). Evidenced by oil ont he wheel & strut.

2. Internal seal failure. Doesn't damp. Evidenced by 'cupping' on your expensive tires. (D'oh!)

So don't 'assume' they are fine. You can't just 'bounce check' them like shock absorbers.

You are right - a stock set up should (I expect) to get 60K MAX out the struts.
