Finally picking up my car!

So after waiting about 3 months for my car it is finally ready for me to pick it up.

It took 2 different dealers and over 3 months for them to figure out what was wrong with the keyless entry and for them to fix a leaky rear diff. I told them i wont buy the car untill its fixed.
Little did i know it would be 3 months later!

But the day is finally here. Im about to leave for the 3 hr drive up to PA to pick up my 06 ms6 black cherry GT with everything but nav. Has around 25k on the clock and otd getting it about 16K!!

Im so stoked.

Im in columbia, what about you?

Ok so im on my way home yesterday from the dealer, about 2 hrs into my dirve home my girlfriend is in front of me cuz she has the gps and im following here home. There is a pickup truck in front of her towing a car trailer.

Ill she her dart to the left really fast and woundering what the hell is going on. Well turns out the left side tire on the trailer is wobbleing off! So she darts into the right lane, im still in the left(fast lane) right behind this trailer and the tire flies off and starts heading towards my car. Now this was 2 hrs after i picked it up!
So the tire starts heading right so i go left into tghe median and thank god barely missing this tire. I almost had to change my pants.

I look into my side mirror just in time to see the tire smashing into someones windshield.

They put on there blinker and started moving over to the shoulder and alot of cars were pulling over with them so it looked like that driver was ok and there were enough people on the scene.

I would have been sooo pissed if that tire would of hit my car after i had only had it for 2 hrs!!


Eh. so that was enough excitement for one day.

But so far im loving the car!! as soon as i have time to wash it again after the trip ill post up some pics.

Wow! That's bad. Glad to hear you made it home OK. I also had a very closed call a few hours after I bought mine. I had a two hour drive and ran into snow and sleet with the original summer tires on, I almost slid into an on ramp concrete barrier. Hope you continue to enjoy your car.

So i finally got enough time to wash her and take some pics.

Mods so far - LED parking lights, LED tag lights, All interior LED's, 20% Tint all around.

Waiting to be installed - Prosport boost gauge and block8head's vent pod

Waiting to get to my huose - cobb sf intake, smoked led rear and side parking lights, audio link, hks ssq.

In the near future - rear MM, TMW SS stage 2

lol no i work on them.

Yea thats what i drove for 2 years before i got my ms6. Got about 230K on it and it just needs so much work its not worth keeping anymore. Anyone need miata parts for cheap??
