I spotted a Black Mica MSP cruising in my area near the dealerships tonight, he was probably breaking it in. I also spotted 1 at each of the local Mazda Dealerships, both were orange and both were marked up to $23,995. I had a brief conversation with one of the salesman were I originally bought my MP3 and I told him if I was to get one, it would have to be Black Mica and I would not pay over MSRP. Maybe I said it too firmly, but he said, "ok" and walked away. Ass holes :flip: Don't get me wrong but I'd rather pay another $4k and get a base model 350Z. Markup is utter BS, marking up the MSP immediately takes the bargain factor away from it.

APEXistud: Go to the mazdausa.com web site and look up Brookings Mazda in Brookings, Oregon. They offered me one at msrp last October, but I got the same deal in Portland without a 300 mile trip to Brookings. They have an 800 phone number, so it's a free call to see if they still have any. They are a President's Club dealership, so they're near the front of the line to get cars.

For those who live CA:

k, most people have been reporting msp's at their dealerships already, but have seen only ONE. any ideas on when dealers will be expecting more, like time period to get one in at a time? i live near irvine mazda and am third in line for a black msp.
so far an orange arrived then was sold a few weeks later, then a black one came in that was supposed to be for someone that was first in line for the black. however, he had some financial issues and backed out of the purchase. i assumed that the person 2nd in line is going to get that black speed. that would make me NEXT in line for a car. i'm pretty excited but have not heard anything lately on what's going on with the person 2nd in line (JPBlackMSP). anyone have any ideas? i keep reading rumors on how dealerships won't receive any more till feb or march. can anyone really confirm this? i can hardly believe how long it's been taking to get these cars in. i also hear people saying that one of the companies can't manufacture a certain part fast enough, but how can it be hard when there are only 2000 cars total? maybe i haven't read on this enough but it just seems wrong.
