Finally...Digital Cable!!!

Well I finally have Digi cable and along with a bazillion channels...I have the SPEED CHANNEL...I've been wanting this channel since it came out...I was wondering if you avid speed channel viewers had any shows and events that are worth checking out...I would like to see rally, GT series, Le Mans (American and euro), drag racing, super touring, automotive shows like motor trend and the list goes on and on...do they cover import racing and landspeed racing?

Thanks to TNT...I did get Motor trend tv or is it Car and Driver...along with other hotrod related shows.

Its been only a few hoursgoing to check the speed sitebut any recommendations are welcome!

sweet! I got Direct TV kinda sucks during rainy or cloudy days. but I love it! Its either my car or being on the couch for me these days.

Speed Channel, A.K.A. the Nascar Channel. Even as I type this, I check it and there's some regional Nascar local race on. Boring. Well, whatever's bringin' the bux from advertisers, right?

Yeah of course they have a lot of NASCAR coverage but we live in America....the Speed Channel is the only channel I know that has such an excellent variety of automotive related programming (including boats, motorcycles and more). Like today they had old coverage of a European rally from 1954...where you see jags, bimmers, vw bugs shooting around corners with 50's suspension technology...those guys had guts! They were going up and down crazy mountain roads with drum brakes, crappy narrow tires and cushy suspensions...trust me you can tell. The amazing thing was those racers were pushing their cars to the limit as they do in modern rally racing.

Im glad they cover NASCARthink of it as break time away from the Speed Channel.

ILMP5...love F1...when is someone going to knock those Ferraris and Mercedes off the top...I want to see Renault take back the title...they managed to do so from 1992 to 1997...just sick of seeing Ferrari red!

me too I am sick of this Ferarri :bs: I am hoping for BMW-Williams this year JP Montoya would be awsome!
