Fender rolling party anyone?

Lol I can see a few brews in the future but idk about shrimp kabobs. You makin it to any races this year?

Yes...I admit I took forever to do mine...but then again, I think there might have been only 1 or 2 waiting after me. Also, I had no idea what I was doing...once I figured it out on the first side, the other went a lot faster lol.

If you don't want to crack your paint, I would say you need about 1-1.5 hours if you're just doing the rears. It's something you DON'T want to rush. It also helps if you have someone helping you apply the heat with the heat gun. The key is to constantly apply the heat evenly...then use the roller a little bit, then heat, then roll, etc. I'd say the majority of the time is spent heating especially if it's cold outside. For the MS3s...start at the very top towards the rear of the car and work your way down and to the front of the car. I started with a very slight angle and work your way to rolling it completely flat. I'll probably show up to lend a hand.

Also, clean the inside of the fender before rolling it. Get as much crap out of there as you can.

That's definitely a good tip, any muck or dirt there will most likely be stuck there forever if you roll it flush.

So far it looks as though there will be 2 rollers there. 1 from Nate and maybe 1 that Phen is going to try to source.
This should help.
People rolling:
1. Ivan
2. Will
3. etipp (don't know your name sorry)
4. James
5. 2003.5MSP (don't know your name either sorry)
6. Pablo

I posted this a little while back so you guys could have an idea od who would be rollin'.

i may make it out to this... not totally sure yet one way or the other but im tenative and i would like to possibly reroll my fenders and get them a bit more flush so that the big meats on the tires dont get rubbed like they did last summer

Ah I forgot about that list but I do remember you posting it now...

Any potential locations? I'll throw my place into consideration, I live kind of far away for you Akron folks but I have lots of space. I have a barn and can easily get 2 cars inside with plenty of space to work should inclement weather happen.

Anyone interested in moving the date for this up? The weather is unseasonably nice and I'm itching to get my summer stuff back on. :D

C'mon man... you know it's Ohio. Bound to get hit with snow again...

Lol I'm hoping for no more snow but I know we'll probably have more cold. I really want to wait until it's warmer because of the paint. Even with the heat gun, I'd feel more comfortable waiting. If I could only predict the weather, I would move it up. Oh and having the barn and lots of space would work out really well for me. What town do you live in?
