At least the Mazda5 sales are doing much better than the Rondo in Feb.

Kia saw a 63 percent drop in Rondo sales to 1,339 units

I was looking at a Honda Fit for my wife and never even heard of a Mazda 5. My son suggested we check it out and we bought it on the spot. Now I am so glad we did. It looks great, rides great, handles great, gets good gas mileage and holds a ton. I think we bought it in February, I'll have to check. By the way, I saw another 5 on the road the other day in SC near Charleston. Sightings are few and far between. I guess we have something special. From the rear it looks a little narrow, but it doesn't feel that way inside.

The availability of the middle aisle allows long legged rear passengers
to stretch out. Imagine if this was a verso or a Rondo.

That is very similar to my story. I was looking at buying a new car with more cargo space than my old sedan (small SUV or wagon). I was well into my shopping when I just happened to read about the Mazda5 when I was researching the Rondo... I liked both but liked the sliders better.

Before that, I never heard of a Mazda5. It sad that it is such a nice vehicle that no one knows about.
