I have a 2010 3 i Touring sedan and recently replaced the factory tires at 37,000 miles with a set of Michelin Pilot Exaltos, standard size 205/55/16. I am having vibration issues from the front, assumed as it is vibrating the steering wheel, at highway speed 55+ when moving the wheel slightly to change lanes. I recently had the tires rebalanced and rotated front to back, as these are directional tires, and the problem is now worse going straight at speeds of 60-75. I had a 4 wheel alignment shortly after the tire installation as well.
Could this be a steering dapener, bad tire(s)...40,000 on the odometer, 90% of which is highway miles...note: this problem did not exist with the oirginal tires!
