Faux Wood Interior Panel Replacement

I just purchased a 2008 GT AWD. It's silver with black leather interior. I absolutely hate the faux wooden accent panels(not enough not to buy the vehicle). Is there a vinyl kit that is available for the CX-9? Has anyone replaced their's with OEM panels and what was the cost?

I believe the OE alternative is black one.
I also believe that all Aussie CX9s have black ones.

Yep we don't get the fake wood down here in Oz, only piano black. I'm looking at covering it wit a carbon fibre look vinyl, the piano black shows dust and finger prints constantly.

So there are alternatives.

If you can figure out how to remove the panels, I'd be interested in a swap, actually. Problem is, I'm not exactly local. But I have the black in my Touring, and kinda like the (faux) wood. Call me crazy..

Anyone know how these pieces come off? Just pry off, is it just sticky backing or similar?

Those dash kits stick on top of whatever you have.
They don't look as OE.
