I am wanting to know if I can squeeze a Falken Azenis 225/45/17 on my MSP without running into rubbing issues. I am currently running stock suspension. But may in the near future be throwing some tein S techs on. I have no problem with rolling my fenders either. I can do it if needed.

So Im pretty sure some MSP guys have ran this tire before. I can get a good price on theese and mount them myself at work. I just want to be totally sure that whatever size I order will fit with no problems. Anybody???

they fit the wheel no problem. Im lowered on H&R springs. im waiting to get the other 2 tires from my buddys house before I test fit them with the drop. I should be fine, but I have heard that 225s in general rub a bit at stock height

Well I know they will fit the wheel with no problem. Im more interested in the rubbing problem. I have heard it really depends on the the tire you run. But there are a few 225 tires that dont rub. Im just not sure how theese will do.

I had Falken Azenis' in a 215/40 series and they rubbed at full steering lock. I'm lowered as well if that helps.

I never thought of putting a 225 on a 17x7 wheel. I think I'm going to do that on my Bortex wheels. :)

currntly run 215/40/17 with no problems on stock msp height. But it looks like if had got the 225s they would have probably rubbed since the 215 s look like they come close under suspension compressing.

No sir, the 225's on the stock 17's didnt come close to my fenders. But now that i think about it, the front tires rubbed the inner fender well at full tilt....which isnt really a big deal imo.
