I tried the PAC USB-MZ1 harness, and it wouldn't work at all.
Then I got the Scosche TAUSB01B, and yup! The USB port in the center console now works with my Kenwood!
Don't know what's different about them as they physically look identical, but somehow, the Scosche works with our cars where the PAC fails.
The 3.5mm Aux port still doesn't work, but meh. Whatever. I never use that at all anyway.
