About 2 months ago I posted that a t-top flew off a Firebird and smashed in the road, showering my car with glass. Anywho, $2200 worth of damage.
Last night a guy hauling a trailer with one of those sealed luggage rack things in the back was a couple of cars in front of me. The thing was empty so it weighs like nothing. It blows out, the car in front of me misses it (that car being the guys wife) of course I don't. Thank god he stopped, insurance is paying.
My bumper must be replaced due to really deep gouges. Both grills must be replaced. The top one is damaged and the bottom one is god knows where. My hood has a scuff and small dent on it. $1350 worth of damage.
Now here's the thing, my driver's side headlight has a inch long scratch on it. You probably wouldn't notice it unless I pointed it out. They can't repair the lense, you must get the whole assembly. The assembly is $215 a piece.
I'm thinking of pocketing that $215 and putting it toward the DGMotorsports carbon fiber lip. My question is, would that be wrong of me?
