Really? Wow you guys outside of NJ have it good. Insurance in NJ absolutely sucks. Believe me im not so lucky, KY insurance is relatively high. I live right near indiana, and most people i know into cars there pay less than i do on my geo for much sportier cars, and i have a clean record. However, when i turn 21 next Feb, my insurance goes down about 40%...

AHEM...I was gonna let the first "Hater=Honda Owner" one slide, but not now...You just classified all Honda owners(later narrowed down to civic owners) as being envious of not just the MSP, but basically all cars. You've NEVER met a nice Civic owner?? Comments like that just plain suck. It damn near offends me. I owned(just sold) a Civic that I put 3 years of work into,and I NEVER hated on anybody's ride regardless of how much better it was than mine. Commenting about things like "rice" is one thing, but to vandalize a fellow import for any reason?? I would never even think about it. (argh)
By the way, DO NOT GET YOUR INSURENCE TO COVER YOUR GLASS!!!!!!!!!!! I can't say that enough! Unless its going to be like $2600 to replace your glass, ITS NOT WORTH IT!! Why? Because your insurence company looks at your record by 'incidents', not nessarily by accident. Lets say, you have a wreck, a speeding ticket and 2 broken windshields. If your under 25 they may drop your ass. I HAVE SEEN THIS HAPPEN BEFORE!!!

Vandals. Find them and skin them alive. I feel for ya. Just had a similar needless act of vandalism but no where near as costly. Maybe consider getting the ES glass and SIRIUS radio or something? Just a thought, I rarely use my radio tuner so I wold consider that as a cheaper solution with a nice end product.

Isn't the antenna part just taped/glued onto the inside of the window? I mean, isn't it acutally just like a normal protege rear window with defrost and then the antenna is held on with some adhesive material? I think that's the case --- ask T3ace - his antenna is FALLING OFF!

I did ask the dealer and they just referred me to another place that didnt have the antenna. I think im just going to take N1XRR's advice and get an ES window, then eventually save up for the actual window. Like a big percentage of us in the forum.....I need my car!!! Good thing my girlfriend let me borrow her car for the day to get to work and all, gotta love her! but i think thats what im gonna do for now. But if anyone could possibly come up w/ a price estimate, please notify me. thanks

Nah, it's just the wire that connects to the glass which is covered by a black piece. It's the black piece and wire that are coming off. Indeed, I have XM and LOVE it. I'll take a picture of where I put my antenna, I've only lost signal 2 times...and both were in a place where the cut out part of a small hill to make the road, so there are 2 large enbankments on each side.
my advice..get an alarm..wait around the same area..bring a gun and let them give you a reason..its worked for me
