experiences with hail damage repair

just wondering if anyone has any instances of getting hail damage fixed on their cars, either by PDR or heating etc. etc.

i've got a major repair coming up and i really don't know if i should have my hopes up that it'll be returned to anything near pre-hail state.

Had huge hail damage to my Honda Civic.
New roof, hood, trunk, window sills and headlight.

I believe they patched up dings on the A pillar. Looked good as new, except the paint matching wasn't perfect. I think the final bill was around $5000 CDN. (insurance)

Make them give you new panels...

Both cars (a cherokee and a talon) beside me had their back windows smashed from the hail.

Nissan auctioned off a bunch of hail damaged cars and we are selling them either as is or if the customer wants them fixed we fix them. We have a dent guy fix the fenders and get a new hood, roof and trunk for the car all painted. They look pretty damn good when they are finished :D

Yeah i saw the NIssan Hail damage sale, and was like :wtf::confused:, but hey, people WILL buy anything, right? People bought the cars

yeah, we are doing really well with the sale. Its a good deal on the car buy it as is..way under normal invoice or buy it and well fix it and tack 2500 onto the price. With a 5 year warranty on the paint instead of nissans one year warranty. We've got a spec V on the lot for like 15. Im expecting some kid to come out and buy it. Its a good deal and they can tear the hood off and get a CF hood and fix the dents or get new fenders and slap a body kit on that thing along with a new paint job. :)
