Racing Beat 5.5 Horsepower Gain :bs:
SR Motorsportd 9 Horsepower Gain :bs:

I don't really believe the power gains posted by the manufacturer but this is what they have published. The Racing Beat Exhaust does look (Stainless Steel) alot better.

thanks

thanks. i think the most gain one gets is like 5 on any system
unless its a staight pipe with headers, but i'm not going to do that any time soon!

There's a dyno chart that someone posted on the site, before and after exhaust install. It was a mazdaspeed exhaust only (meaning no larger mandrel-bend piping from catback). The WHP gain was 5. you might get another 1-2hp from the larger piping of the catback systems, but not much. go for price, looks, and sound. All "hi-flow" muffler technology is pretty much the same for N/A engines. expect 4-7hp.(drinks)

I wouldn't buy any of these cat-back exhaust systems, when you can get any universal exhaust you want ( a-lot of companies make these.) Then, just take it to a muffler shop and have them put custom piping from the cat-back. I have a Magnaflow performance exhasut, with custom 2 1/4 piping from the cat-back. This all cost $220 installed and out the door, compared to a $400 bosal. The gains on my car were 5 hp to the tires with the Inlen CAI, and the ran agin after exhaust and got 4 more to the tires. I really didn't care the brand I wanted to budget, cause I will be going turbo soon enough, and have to change all of that anyway, but the future is still far away.

HKS has a nice Universal Muffler that looks really good.
Search by Car and you'll find it!

I just purchased and installed the Racing Beat Cat for my ES from Pro 5 online. I believe I payed 400$ and some change. This system goes from the second cat all the way out. It comes with a very nice sounding resonator and great looking pipe. It is not real loud or annoying and it looks so tight. Very good quality, good price and only take about 45 mins. Regular hand tool do the trick but air tools help with stuck bolts if any. I saw the bosal cat installed and was not very impressed looked pretty good but did not seem to fit right. Maybe the guy messed up on inatall. the thing about the universal exhaust is the resonator. If you do not use one the sounds can very and some pipes can very harsh with out one. just my 2 cents.
