I had true dual exhaust put on my 79' hurst/olds after i did the engine build on it, the shop that did the exhaust put high flow cats on it even though i didn't want any. I got tired of having the exhaust so quiet on it, so i cut the cat's out and gutted em' and welded then back in. I thought i might have gotten a little bit of a gain, or it could have been cause it made the exhaust louder, not by much though. Save the money and just gut the cat.

My mistake. No O2 sensor after the second cat? hmmm... Me like. I was right about the rest though right?

It's a good idea instead of paying for a high flow cat and the effects are the same.. more flow and sound
