---> *EVERYTHING* ECU fix/comments/thoughts

Yup, you've been flashed. Everyone I've heard from noticed 0 improvment after disconnecting the battery post-flash. I wouldn't bother.

Man, I can't believe you guys have to schedule weeks in advance to get the flash done.

I went in one day when I didn't have class and they were able to do it right away.

I guess it helps that there are only two MSP's in my city.

I'm gonna make a bunch of those "Authorized Modification" stickers to use for my other mods, and put 'em all over the engine bay.:D That should keep my warranty intact.

Just got my flash today, Much smoother through mid range, although the tech did not put any sticker in my engine bay.

I got mine done yesterday, and then put the injen on last night. It honestly feels like a different car. Add City Mazda in Greensboro, NC to the list. They gave me no problems I told them what I wanted and he said ok.

those stickers are from the port- at least the ones i've seen (passenger side, top of firewall)

I got my flash done on Wednesday and now my car performs a little better. They did not reset the ECU because my stereo presets are still the same. I hear about people disconnecting the battery. Does it matter if they did not reset the ECU. Should I go back and have them redo it?

was having an oil change and the coolant line looked at, so i requested the flash too. they didn't ask any questions over the phone and they just did it. it's good stuff this flash, no bucking!

so here's another NJ dealer:

Schwartz Mazda
585 Shrewsbury Ave.
Shrewsbury NJ, 07702
732-747-0787

as a side note, i didn't buy from them, only service, and so far it's been good.

I have a Mazda Speed Protege, it has a Injen Cold Air Intake, Perin Turbo Back Exhaust, and I'm running 8 psi. The car has that hesitation problem. Should I take it to get flashed because I am running 8 psi.

you wont void WT....

Sorry, now that I look back on it I guess I should have been more specific as to why your warranty might be voided. (hand)

well mazda has denied work on even stock cars due to percieved abuse, much less having any sort of mod's. So in a sense depending on the dealer it could be voided by pretty much anything or you could have every mod under the sun and get it warrantied.

Kind of like a roll of the dice, but can you tell me what MSP you have becuase I thought only the 03's came unflashed, but all of the 3.5-3.7's were flashed at the dealer....

P.S. just to keep the wars down. I know about all of the various laws, acts etc. but for those of us who have been on this board for a while, have seen stock cars denied warrenty work!!!
