would jsut like everyone to take a minute to pray for Dave Bodde. I recieved news this morning that he is in the hospital . so he must be going through some pain. all of your thoughts and prayers would be great.

Man i know all about kidney problems considering i have had 6 surgeries and only one kidney...i would say that i am a veteran when it comes to problems with kidneys.

HIPPA privacy laws are the bain of my existence. All it's doing is preventing the information that health care providers need from being known. It's only a matter of time before somebody dies because their caregiver was never told a complete history because of HIPPA.

Anyways, back on topic --

Dave, I hope you get better soon. Kidney stones unfortunately are one of the most painful things someone can endure. Hopefully they'll give you some decent drugs to dull that pain

We already had problems with incomplete histories before HIPPA. Especially "on-scene." Most people don't abide by HIPPA regulations anyways.

ya i know what ur saying. im an EMT for the state of indiana, and i know all the bs that goes along with those laws. i jsut remember having to watch the movie when i first went through emt traning....

i transported patients its even worse for us the only thing we know is what not to touch or breath basicly hippa is ridiculous. Part of the reason i didnt want to work at the hospital.

DaveB i hope thier giving you good drugs. Its tough to go through.
