I thought the old logo looked like an alien with it's helmet on(dam boose). Glad they got rid of it.

When I look at the new one, I see the tip of whale's tail, just before it dives (imagine some National Geographic cover page). Still don't see anything in Toyota's logo...

umm i believe you can spell toyota out of toyota's logo, just look hard and remember "A toyota" spelled backwards is "A Toyota"

The Mazda logo is the old Greek symbol for magnesium.

I always thought the old logo was not a flame but an upside down eagle's tallon holding a diamond or ball or something. I figured they changed it to the flying M to look like a bird still.

My car has never been mistaken for a Honda but from a distance the M in front sure looks like the Mercadies logo on the M class.

Thanks for the site carl. Interesting. Personaly I didn't mind the older symbols. But if I got a RX-7 or older Miata or something I'd swap the old symbol for the new one.
