Essential Speed DP

the Essential Speed is a great downpipe. I can sell their products as well as Apex's downpipes. If you're interested in either one. Let me know, and I will see what I can do for you.

The company selling it is in FL. so that would be US dollars. Too much money for that.

Also, they say thier boost jumped form 10psi to 15psi just by installing this dp. :wtf: !! I would like them to expain how this happened. The wastegate controlls the boost, and you adjust that with a boost controller.

it is $475 american. I am also a dealer for Essential Speed products. PM me if you are interested. Essential Speed makes an excellent product. And I am checking right now to see about the hangers. I know the pic doesn't have them, but I will see if that has changed. Also, it is SS, which causes the price to be $76 more than the Apex pipe with a cat.

The wastegate cant keep up with it pretty much. With the cats restricting the flow ALOT, the exhaust slows down and builds pressure, which kills the HP, if you free that up, the wastegate is overwhelmed by the ammount of exhaust going through the turbo, and therefore raises your boost.

.. Uhh. Whose?

Custom perfomance shops, muffler shops etc...
Alot of the time it might be crush bent, not mandrel, but as long as its a good quality crush, then it wont matter too much, especially if its 3in, which is pretty much over kill anyways. :D

Because of that BS, I almost do not even want to consider their products.....

the decreased back-pressure caused a spike in the boost. It's simple really. Open up the exhaust side, the turbo breathes easier, the boost jumps.
