I've got some questions for ya'll to answer:

1) how many liters of transmission fluid does the protege hold(msp)Heard so many good things about GM syncromesh in imports, what do you guys suggest?

2)Can anyone find me pipe routing for the corksport FMIC kit for the msp?

3)Thinking of running a 12" Misimoto slim fan on the rad rather then the two stock fans over hanging once you remove the intercooler, will this be sufficient?

4)Whats the best recomended spark plug to run in the protege speed for its poor factory tune?

5)Would it be a good idea to raise the thermostat temp to 190F over the factory try to sway the computer into running the car a little more lean as they run to rich from the factory?

6)Recommend good oil/filter combo for turbo application? ? 20W50 royal purple? or sythentic 5w30 style?

7)J- pipe on the 2.0L protege turbo looks awfully similar to the j-pipe on a regular protege, are they the same?

8)Do they make an aftermarket ac/ delete kit? a/c didnt work so we pulled it out/ in addition to the front mount as most sites suggest removing the condensor anyways.

Any Valuable Input Is Much Appreciated.

1. If I remember correctly it's around 3 quarts, so that's about .75 Liters. I use Redline MT90. Buy 4 quarts/1 Liter just to be on the safe side.

2. Email Corksport? Otherwise search the forums and you're bound to find it.

3. Yes

4. NGK ZFR6F-11, gap = .032"

5. Nope, you need EMS to improve the tune. Split Second AFC is a popular choice.

6. I've been using 5W30 Mobil1 synthetic with Mobil1 filters in both my Proteges since 2004. You'll find out that everyone has their preference and in the end they all pretty much get the job done the same. But 5W30 is the factory recommended viscosity.

7. Yes, same part.

8. Not that I know of, but there are many who have removed the A/C. Search the forum for details.

corksport sells their parts as a kit. I don't think they will sell parts separately. I tried getting a new hot pipe a while back.
