I have a 95 Mazda Protge. It has been a bit rough when decelerating and has been sputtering and grumbling when I let up on the gas to decelerate lately. yesterday i started it and it started up fine then after a few seconds it stalled out. It has idled rough for some time now so I restarted it and no problem then stalled again. It is usually OK to start back up again but it's stalling any time I just let my foot off the gas for too long. I have no extra money for mechanics so i'd like to fix it myself if possible. Any suggestions?
I have just recently replaces plugs, wires, cap, rotor, and air filter.
I am trying to clean the IAC Valve. I took it apart and it's filthy inside. My whole intake manifold is covered with oil residue. How do you clean out the intake???
