There's also an easy fix by throwing the plastic screws in the trash replace them with metal ones and the loctite them never worry again.

You said you upgraded to the single runner, you didn't. You down graded

Plastic? I'm pretty sure plastic wouldn't have scored my piston, cylinder head, ect. I probably gained top end with my supporting mods.

The screws that held them in were plastic or something like that. Mazda always does something retarded. All the early b6 engines developed crank pulley wobble from key way wear

626 intake causes a loss on top end. Been dyno proven a couple times
