Engine Rattle at 5% throttle?!?!

When I'm pushing at 5% throttle (barely touching - just to maintain speed) I hear what sounds to be rattling coming from the engine. It used to happen only in 4th gear but now it's starting to happen in all gears. Any idea as to what it might be?!?

Fuel pump? I have a similar sound and dealer diagnosed it as a bad fuel pump (the high pressure DI one driven by the cam)

can you list also the rpm's that this happens at?

Mine did this when the spark plugs were incorrectly gapped. Moral of that story is don't trust the autoparts store computer for the gap. Closed them up to .028" and all was well with the world again.

It happens at around 4-5K RPM's.

Any change of this being a bent piston?
