Engine Missing?

Ok, so this has been an ongoing issue for the past few months. I have an '03 mazda6 v6 sport with 117k.

Originally(107k), back in May I was having an engine misfire, and it turned out that me valve cover gaskets were leaking. I replaced both the gaskets, all spark plugs, and also one of the ignition coils were bad. After all that was done I hadn't had an issue until recently(approx 10k miles).

Currently, I have started having a similar issue, and cannot seem to diagnose it. I noticed when I had the car in Drive with the brake on, the car would start shaking vigorously. It is not throwing any engine codes, and has a tremendous loss of power.

First attempt: I removed the intake, and checked the spark plugs to find that Cylinder 3 was completely missing the "spark" end of the plug(I guess it got burned off inside of the motor). So of course I replaced ALL the plugs again, and it didn't fix anything.

Second attempt: Then I removed the MAF and cleaned that(like recommended on the forum), and it didn't resolve the issue. I then went to the local O'rielys, and the guy put a NEW maf on the it didn't help, so he took it back. (

Third attempt: Cleaned the the Throttle body, Attempted to clean the EGR by just removing the 2 10mm bolts and spraying the inside with cleaner. I'm not sure if that is the proper way, but it was the best I could do. Then I also used "seafoam" cleaner and cleaned the intake via the vacuum hose while the motor was running. No progress was made.

Fourth attempt: I still believe the motor is missing, so I went the cheap route first, and replaced just the "boot" end of the coils. Now I feel that the car is "missing" even more, because I can feel it while I'm driving down the highway. If I hold the throttle around 2k rpms is when it really starts to sputter.

I'm completely stumped, and before I go spend the money on replacing ALL the coils $80*5, or send it to the shop. I was hoping someone had a similar experience that could help me.
Keep in mind, while all this was occurring the ONLY codes that were thrown were the ones that I had forced it to throw. Ie removing the MAF, Cleaning the throttle body, ect. I also do all the work myself, and I have to have my car for work and school, so it would be very difficult for me to put it in a shop for a couple of days, and pay the bill haha

If someone could please help me I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks
