Engine clicking after oil change.

First a little background:

I changed my own oil today and accidentally overfilled it alot! Only drove it maybe 100ft before i noticed (couldn't ignore the smoke from my exhaust!) Drained the system and filled it to the right levels. Used 5w-20 full synthetic oil. Drove it maybe 2 miles to go get gas, made sure i used the Turbo some to clean it out. Smoke went away during gas run and pickup and driving seemed normal.

But when i got back i noticed that a clicking noise that i usually get from my engine (has been there since i bought the thing a year and a half.) seemed louder than usual. Buddy of mine said it sounded like a valve lifter making noise.

Question is: Could it be the viscosity of the oil making the sound? I think i may have used 5w-30 last time i changed the oil and this time it was 5w-20. OR could it be the fact that i overfilled it and that has now caused some kind of problem?

Like i said i've had this noise since i bought the car, but it just seemed louder this afternoon. OR I could just be imagining things because of how bad i freaked out when i realized what i did.

Thanks for the help!!

Could be.. Not sure but maybe its the CAm timing thing? Im no expert but on here people have talked about the variable cam thing going out and making a loud noise.

Could possibly be it? Some topend noise is normal but nothing really loud
