2002 mazda protege 5
soooo I managed to screwup a valve... dunno how it came outta adjustment or wahtever.. it started tapping and making a bunch of stupid noises... SO I came up with the idea to buy a new head with good valves and good cams and im debating having it ported and polished BEFORE it goes onto the car.. however i dont think i know how much i want to have it ported... and if i decide not to go that route.. should i even have it machined? or can i just stick it on with out having it decked ( it is like 300 bucks that i dont have to spend at the moment.. that is why im considering waiting on a pnp)

ideas?


info: 2002 p5, mp3 head, the head is a little carbonated... ive been cleaning it up.... had 54,000 miles on it looks to be in good shape
