more progress
i got a little further with the tear down today. the trani’s been pulled, the harness is strung out, and a good deal of the firewall has been stripped down. the end goal is to get the whole bay stripped down so that it will be easier to rebuild the systems keeping the bay as clean as possible. im going to test fit the major components then prep the bay to be sprayed.
its going to be fun trying to get the wiring set up all cleaned up and back in working order.
one recent development is how best to set up the brakes. i’ve decided to do a full custom wilwood brake set up complete with peddle assembly, individual master cylinders, braided lines, front 13′ rotors with 6 piston calipers, rear 11.75′rotors with 4 piston calipers, and a custom hydrolic ebrake. these brakes will be the same brakes used in the aac kits. it should be a sick set up once we get it all drawn up.
