Edmonton dyno day/meet interest thread

I've been wanting to get a couple baseline pulls done on the Speed3 and figured I would try to see who all wants to do the same for their car.

I contacted Martin @ AFI Performance (http://www.afiperformance.com) about mass booking a dyno and seeing what kind of deal I could get. He sent me this...

Hey Jordan,

We would love to help you guys out with a dyno day. The pricing structure is listed below.

0-4 cars= 90 dollars per car down from 100 per car normal rate.
5-9 cars= 80 dollars per car
10-max= 70 dollars per car

If you have enough people to make it worth while we also do 80 bucks a car for 10 plus cars including a killer BBQ and drinks. Most of my regular groups go for this option. It is all you can eat Grub with a fridge full of beverages as well.

The date is TBD, but it would probably be a Saturday to help accomodate everybody that works during the week.

I'm posting this on as many Mazda boards as I know of. It's open to everybody and hopefully we can get a pretty big turnout with a bunch of different types of cars.

Hopefully sometime late June or early July. AFI has the next couple saturdays booked up.

I was talking with Martin @ AFI earlier today and he said usually 2 weeks notice is plenty to reserve the shop.

dyno is no big deal to me, but i think the meet sounds great. Even if i didn't use the dyno, contribute a bit of cash for the food.

Nah, i think its pretty much dead.
But what happened to the Alberta meet, that we were suppose to have in August, is that dead, or is it still on?
