Well, I looked high and low to find this here on the forum and had to go to the shop manual to find it. I figured I would post it up here for the next person looking for it.

I am looking to get my MPI installed and when I went to a few shops, they mentioned wanting to have a real good wiring harness diagram before they would be willing to even consider it.

Please let me know if anyone thinks this is not the correct diagram or is incomplete/ inaccurate.

I'm not sure what year models this service manual covers but I have an '02 P5

Thanks to Josh (ALTspace) for sizing the files so u fellas can still read them when u zoom-zoom in to see the tiny writing.

the mpi instructions give you the pin numbers and wire colors, so you don't really need a diagram. you could just look at the connector to find out where a wire needs to go

hmm this is greay. I have looked for this too but gave up. wait now that I think about it I drove to the dealer and got some copies made

Thanks for that bro,

I will be installing my microtech soon and innovate wideband, along with other goodies. This will always come in handy

Bumpo for me looking up this thread again and adding this discovery from last year:

Well folks, brace yourselves....Lots of most shocking revelations!(freak)
I have just talked to the shop I found to install the AEM.
For starters, they determined that the wiring harness diagram I provided was not correct! After trying to test signals on wires I had labelled for the MPI install, it became clear something was not right.(dunno)

My new hero, Chris (the mechanic) went on a mission to find out what was wrong. He had noticed that the wiring diagram showed HALL sensors where the car has Magneto sensors (CPS and CKPS, I think he said it even had a different number of wires than showing on the diagram)

A friend of his used my VIN to access a reference database.
He says my car has the EECV from a FORD FOCUS! ...

can you ask that guy again to check my VIN so we can get a clue of MSP ECU being similar to any other "Ford" cars ??

i guess the question is, where and when does the pinout decide to change? like which model yr etc..
