Ebay intake..Holy SH#T..It works!!

I just wanted to tell all the naysayers that the ebay(Bomz) intake works awesome!!!! And I only paid $50 shipped!!!!!!! Screw spending $200+ on a "COLD AIR INTAKE"...I will use the other $150 that i saved for something else...How much more of a difference is the Injen going to give me, if any....Not $150 worth that is for sure.....I recommend that everyone gets this intake...and it was soo easy to install...took about 26 mins. well worth it....I have a noticable difference in throttle response!!!!

That's what I said before. Actually a friend of mine has ebay intake in his protege sedan and it works just like Injen's.
But I think the difference is Injen looks better and sounds deeper.

Yes, sounds kinda like blowing in a bottle, HuMMM. the sound will come from under your hood when you install an intake, muffler really don't matter. But with both, it will produce more noise.

the intake gives your car a nice sound....makes me waste gas sometimes cause it sounds cool! gives it a fairly deep moan...can't really explain it. i know a few members have posted sound clips.

yeai got mine from megan racing too, theyre office is near my house so i went there to pick it up. Anyways, make sure you guys go buy another air filter. The air filter it comes with is crap. If you use it for a while, then take it off, you will notice fine fine dust along the inside of the pipe. I just ordered a K&N inverted cone for about $50 shipped.

that was the best price i could fine unless someones got a better source.

but yea, get a new air filter, its worth it, god knows what that thing lets into the engine. And, for refrence, its a 3 inch opening.

i dunno, it looks like junk compared to the injen, but to each his own...if you ever show someone the difference between the two, you will get much more compliments with the injen. but hey, not much of a noticable difference between the two, but much more worth it.

just by changing to stock filter to cone filter makes difference too
one thing I don't like ebay intake is the brackets...
that's why I bought injen where everything was just plug and play and looks nice he he

when it comes to motor parts, dont settle for cheap s***. you get some obx headers *hahahahaha* it may fall apart on you. u get some ebay intake,it is your motor you are talking about. the filter may crap out on you, the tubing may warp over time, or some or bs. im sure u dont want dust getting into your intake manifold, oil, etc, so i suggest spending that extra penny to buy a brand that you know is certified in making these things like aem, injen, k&n, etc. i can see if u get body kits that are replicas, no harm done to the car, but idk, getting cheap exhaust, cheap springs, or wutever is only going to hurt your car in the long run. i suggest u get a K&N filter at least to replace the ebay filter. this is just my 2 cents haha peace - chris
