Hey Everyone, I finally was able to scan in my dyno printouts for before and after my AWR header install. This printout is the before and after (run 3 being before, run 5 being after). Both runs were done in 4th gear, on the same dyno, about 1 month apart.

nice you should get some good power out of the cams as well
I sure hope so. I am a bit disappointed in these gains, but it really feels like more. Also, one other member on here (Equinox i think) said he gained 12hp/12ftlbs with this header, so I was expecting the same. I didnt quite make it.

with different dynos ( or even different days) you will get different #'s so don't worry,

Yeah, thats what I keep telling myself. :)

The gains are good. No two dynos are the same. No point comparing it to someone else unless it was the same dyno.

Where can I get one of these?

wow thats not a big bump at all for the headers. for what you have done i would have expected you to beat my dyno number of 121.6 SEA HP. i had a sri, wagner shorty header, muffler and thats it really. is the AWR a 4-2-1 header or a 4-1 ? one of those styles robs low end power while making it up in the higher end

Its a 4-2-1.

How was your fitment and installation? Everything go smoothly and fit without modification? Looks like some pretty nice numbers for the mods you have done.

Completely different dyno's Finn....

My car put down 116hp and 130ftlbs with only intake and axle back exhaust. Can't really compare his and yours. The AWR is a nice header, 4-2-1. You'll see one on my car soon enough....Then we'll head back to Agile.

Well, I had to take the radiator off to get it installed. Not everyone has to do this. And I have a little bit of a problem where the header meets up with my midpipe - the flanges dont match up exactly. I made it fit though. :) No leaks that I can tell. Other than that, it seems to fit pretty good.

i read its not good to dyno in an overdrive gear (4th & 5th) even though 4th is closest to a 1:1 ratio, its still overdrive. maybe a run in 3rd would have been better.

i was thinking the same thing

3rd gear pull...may have been better.

also..the Temps are very different from the 3rd and 5th runs....the 5th run being hotter.

Still impressive gains! and good info for the board to use!

Dyno in 3rd not better

Folks, third gear is not the place to dyno these cars. I wish I could find the webpage that explained it, but you want as close to 1:1 ratio as possible. Here is my first dyno sheet from back in March (before header). The first pull is in 3rd gear (94 hp/107 tq). Looks a heck of a lot worse to me than the next two pulls (both in fourth gear).

EDIT: Sorry folks, dont want to come across as an asshole or a know-it-all, but I do think 4th is the correct gear. If someone can find a FAQ about how to dyno a car, post a link. If I am wrong, then I will change it next time I go. I just want everyone to be as consistent as possible, so we will know what mods work best.

Try pulling in third gear now and see what u get.....if its less power than what u have posted now, then your correct.

I am planning on ordering a midpipe from wagner, so I will probably go back and dyno after this (maybe a month from now). I will do a pull in 3rd and one in 4th. It will be interesting to see which is better, but I think fourth will be. I will post results when I have them. Also, anyone else who dynos from now on, try to do one run in 3rd, and one in 4th. We will find out for sure that way.
