Dyno Questions, Intake Questions?

I'm a bit new here and I was reading up on preparing for a dyno.

This is what I have so far:

Tires are in good condition and properly inflated.

Engine oil is full and recently changed

Coolant levels are all topped-off

I was wondering if there is anything else I should do to prepare for a dyno.

Just some info on the car:

08 Speed3 with just over 1500 miles on it.

As for the intake I ordered a Cobb SRI and was wondering if I should install the intake now or wait to install it. I'm worried about the whole breaking the car in thing and was also reading up on after market parts and if they are not tuned correctly you essentially get no power gains or could potentially hurt the car.

Anyone mind helping me out?

I was told that 1,500 was plenty to break in and my cobb sri has been on since about then. Install it, reset the ecu, and drive it on three or four separate occasions to let the ecu learn about it. Everything I've heard and felt is that the ecu tunes for it itself. Don't worry about a SRI.

I know in most situations people put in brand new spark plugs, but since the car is damn near new, I don't know if that would apply.

Hope that helps until someone more knowledgeable chimes in! ;)

The stock ecu adjusts to the intake, but you need to reset it by unplugging the battery for 10 min. Just unplug while installing. You are fine installing it at 1500miles.

Thanks a lot I'm just waiting for my parts to come in now.

Ordered the TWM Shifter Bushings and about to order the SU Rear Engine Mount.

Wish I knew someone around me who owns a Speed3 so he/she can show me the ropes (help)
