Dupli-color Touch up paint warning!!!!

:
2016 Mazda CX-5 GT AWD w/Tech & i-Activesense
Just to let everyone who has a white P5 out there, the duplicolor 2in1 touch up paint that their book says it the white color for the car is way off. Their paint is much yellowier then the stock paint. I'm a bit pissed by it but it looks better then the giant chip in my fender did with no paint. Just wanted to give everyone a heads up. Later

Just to let you know....White is one of the Hardest colors to match exactly.

Red,yellows and silvers are also very hard.
It might be the right one...Its just hard to get white....."Right".

Agreed. It may have been that color off the assembly line, but over time the elements will cause your paint to fade and look different...

I don't expect it to match exactly but closer then the duplicolor match was. It was terrible. I'll live with it, but I don't have to like it.

i guess without seeing how bad it is, i'll shut my mouth. lol. I know the touchup paint I have for the titanium is marginally better than the lack of paint on the scratches in the rear bumper...

I have to agree with the OP here. I also bought a bottle of the same exact stuff a couple years back and did a touch up on a small scratch. I too wasn't expecting a perfect match but it is COMPLETELY off. Not even close.

Why don't you guys just go to the dealer and get some touch up paint? It can't be more than $15 or so for a little thing of it.

He probably just saw it in autozone or something while he was getting something else that he needed. The little things are like 4 bucks. Besides, the point of this thread isn't to b**** and moan, it's to make sure other ppl don't end up buying the same s*** we did.

don't know haven't tried it. Worth a shot I guess, just check some place like under the hood for color match.
