I was wondering what the most ghetto thing about your P5? I have to smack the passenger side headlight to get it to turn on, every now and then.... lol

hahaha that's epic.

the plastic panel on my hatch is held on with a bunch of duct tape

i just had to do that last night (eek2)

but perhaps that the previous owner left me with steel wheels and hubcaps and that one of the hub caps is zip tied on... (smash)

had to tape my front plate to my bumper. car wash decided it wanted to rip it off. now fixed, but was rollin around hood rich for a solid week.

ive been pulled over two nights in a row for no running lights because the owner before me is a hack job wirer...

when changing to AEM intake, i used left over bolts from the stock air box and used them to mount the solenoid that most people zip tie to the strut bar... minimal drilling required!

and to keep the radiator from having that little bit of wiggle room (caused by removing stock intake) i have zip ties hidden to keep it from moving

when i switched from a msp radiator to a p5/sedan radiator i didnt have the brackets so i made some....outta zip ties

i know.... whoever had my yellow p5 before me duct taped the factory intake tubing. wow even a ebay intake is only 35ish dollars not a bank breaker.... i got a new intake kit coming next week. :)

I rocked a taped intake for almost a solid year, now I have a simota CAI. LOL

Lets see, I've got a list. I'm currently rocking the duct tape intake tube mod. I'm also on a spare for another day or two until I can get my new tires mounted. I hate riding on the spare, it automatically makes any car look ghetto-tastic instantly. My favorite though would be my HVAC controls. The tab broke off of my vent selector knob so it is no longer connected to the cable. I have found, however, that the cam for the vent selector is within arms reach while driving so I can manually adjust my vents!

I made electrical-tape eyelids, but surprisingly they look really good really good. Its kinda cool cuz I can change up the styling of them whenever I want , and they last about six months, so thats cool too.

this is what i thought was the best solution to hitting a stop sign and cracking my bumper...

been like that for months lol

I'm currently running around with no grill because my hood latch cable broke, and zip strips are on the latch so I just pull those to open the hood. Who needs a stinking hood latch release inside the cab? Not I! lol

I found a shopping cart on the side of the road the night before Import Alliance 2011 in Nashville. My buddies dared me to cut the wheels of the cart and strap it on my roof rack. So I did, LMAO after about an hour of grinding, and fitting it on there, we had the new "ghetto crows nest". The look on the peoples faces when I rolled in there were priceless...there was the "Is this dude serious?" look and the "Holy s***, that's epic" look!

Tell me about it! I can post up more pics. My friend rode in the basket as we entered the event....It was epic. I gotta go back and do something even more crazy next year..
