DSM valve same bolt up as the ms3?

My ******* search has not been working good lately and I can't seem to find it out there.

I remember a few people putting DSM eclipse valves on their speed3. I was wondering if the flange is the same bolt-up as the one on our MS3.

I found a valve that comes with a DSM flange and was basically trying to see if it could actually bolt on to the MS3

You will have to drill out the bolt holes in the dsm valve quite a bit for it to fit, but other then that, it is a direct bolt on.

so the DSM flange bolt holes aren't wide enough then?

Correct. I was looking at this when I still had my dsm and first got the car since they were pretty close in size.

damn. There is an HKS for sale with a dsm flange for cheap and I was thinking it would fit since i have seen someone else put a dsm 1g bov on their speed3 somewhere on this forum

i had the 1g dsm on mine when i first first got it, still have the valve actually.. the flange is the same basic shape just smaller, the center hole is identical and the holes for the bolts are slightly smaller and i believe outwards a bit much/maybe it was inwards, but it just took about 5 minutes on a dremel and it worked perfectly, no leak at all..

also i had to custom make a gasket for the smaller flange with the newly customized bolt holes..

I would have just used RTV anyway. Any gasket on my old DSM's bov would just be a boost leak anyway. haha.
