Drove a mini cooper S

Just thought i'd give my opnions.....all i have to say about this car is it's like driving a racing go-cart. The supercharger really does wonders for that thing, once you get above 3200rpms its a nice little kick in the a$$. Handling is ungodly, even with the DCS off it's glued to the road. pretty comfortable ride too, just a strange layout in the interior and not much luggage room at all, but deffinitly a cool car. honestly if it wouldn't drive me into debt from being upside down i'd trade in the pro on a nice yellow one with black rally stripes.

I test drove one a few weeks ago - it's a cool, fun-to-drive car. I just think I look silly sitting in such a small car.

My buddy has a Cooper S on order....he's hoping to get it either in August or September. Expensive little car, but his dad is getting it for him as a present...I'm jealous!

Silly or not, i'll take one.....something about doing well over 70 in third gear with three to go...just have to find the "secret" location of the speed limiting chip. Maybe a little more boost too.

I want one soooo badly....that will be my quest for this weekend...to try to find a dealer who will let me test drive one!

Diane, i promise if you get to drive one you won't be dissapointed. one tip...turn the damn DSC off. it's soooo much better with it off, besides if you're real good you can chirp 2 and 3rd.

The dealerhsip here told me that if I order a Coopr S it won't be here for another year and a half...

That don't have any for test drives...

Oh well...I still have to pay for my MP3, so it's all good.
