DRIVER311 updated pics! 3/20/08

I'm already nervous about speed bumps with the MS3..

I measured the bumps that are in my apt complex. 4" tall at the highest point. The MS3 on edmunds.com measures at 4.8" ride height. Talk about low!!! I don't know why you'd want the car that much lower. What a pain in the ass to lift the car when necessary!!!

my regular 3 is preeeetty low on the sportlines, how it doesnt scrape when i go over speed bumps in the middle is beyond me, but i've got some pretty monster ones in the parking lot where i work, and never a scrape..

i once straddled a dead cat in the middle of the road though, laying on its side, and something on my car scraped on its skull, it was grooooooosss!

Oh that's gross!!!! I once ran over a rabbit who was crossing the road in my 94 Grand Am. My left rear wheel hit his skull and my whole car leapt up as if I ran over a boulder. It was literally the grossest thing ever. I drove back the next morning on that same section of road and that rabbit had exploded everywhere. It was nasty.

But yeah, I don't know if I should be preparing myself to take every speed bump at an angle or what. My neighbor has a 05 C6 Vette, I have to ask him how he gets in and out of the complex with the speed bumps.

I love the red/black contrast effect on some cars, I had my MKIII GTI colored like that.

Great looking True Red though. Not too many MS3 colors can pull off what you have done. I will agree with someone earlier about the side moldings. Probably just my opinion but I feel like it gives the car just the right mount of lines it needs.

yeah they are on a few but I know which one you are talking about...thanks mang.

Not true. the springs are perfect for the car and thats why eibach didnt make a second set. they are based on weight and handling and eibach would have done the same for both cars. Just like the springs they make for a mustang gt are the same for the v6. its not like they are gonna make them stiffer cause the car has more whp. LOL Its based on weight and what the driver wants to do with the car. If you want less aggressive they offer the prokit.

All I'm saying is that their springs were based off of the regular 3 and it's weight and spring rates. For example the pro-kit springs for the 3 wile being stiffer than OEM 3 springs, are the same, or actually softer than the Mazdaspeed3 OEM springs from the spring rates that I've found. I have not been able to find the sportline spring rates yet so they may in fact be stiffer then OEM.

Regardless of all of that though, the stance looks great.

if you are ever in rc willey on franklin and eagle stop into electronics and let me know so i can check your ride out in person. friend of mine has seen you around town, but i have not. looks great.
