Driver Seat Lower frame replacement

My Drivers seat power slide started squealing. Still moves just sounds really bad. Seems the only option is to replace the entire lower unit of the seat. Has anyone done this yet? Curious how hard it might be. Thanks. $380 with $28 shipping is the best price I've found so far.. Much better than the $1000 quoted from the local dealer.. Appreciate the help!

No, this noise issue on power seat for 2016 CX-5 is due to some bad design and questionable component arrangement. Cleaning out the rail and giving it some grease won't help the problem. Many 2016 CX-5's have suffered this problem including mine. There's a TSB posted by Anchorman not long ago for this problem. OP should hold on getting the expensive seat rails and motor until read the TSB knowing the true cause of the problem. Otherwise you may run into the same problem again in the future with the same parts.
