A lot of people really enjoy their cars. Others just see them as a tool to get to and from work/school/etc. The people who enjoy are typically people who frequent forums like this.

Many would like to be able to enjoy their cars to the fullest, but the closest they can get is a facsimile on Forza or Gran Turismo. There are opportunities for us to do it for real. Coming up in a few weeks, Revolution Precision Motorsports School is holding their second event at MSRH just south of Houston. The inaugural event was held this past weekend at Harris Hill Road in San Marcos, and it was a smashing success. Okay, maybe smashing is a bad choice of words, so let's just say it was incredibly well run, and an amazing amount of fun.

More information can be found at: http://www.rpmschool.net/

I'll be there at MSRH as one of the instructors. Although I've sold my Mazda track car, I'll still be able to work with you guys even though I now have a Boxster. You're going to see a lot of VERY fast Miatas, maybe a Mazdaspeed3, or even a Mazdaspeed6. The Mazdas make a very nice showing at every track event, and are often the holders of the fastest lap time of the day.

I hope to see you there.
