Drilled/slotted?

I have these for my MP3. They are a good deal. As far as install goes. It depends on how rusted your previous rotors, and all that junk down there is.

I was looking at something like that, but they were Brembo on Ebay for all four... I would buy it, i'm going to when i have the time and money.. Are you getting them?

Peace,
RJ

ya the rotorworks are good rotors... actually I have heard nothing but good things about them... they also sell the complete package if that is just the fronts... I think the front and rear combo with pads is like 320.

I bought the package with the Posi Quiet Pads and the 4 rotors for 220 shipped.

I think you are wasting money buy cross drilled/slotted rotors, they will help disipate heat but you are acctually loosing breaking surface, I would grab some Brembo blanks and some decent pads and call it a day...just my opinion but those are over kill for a DD

YEA, just get good break pads and use the stock rotors

they actually hurt performance...
the car won't brake as good

I shouldnt lose a noticeable amount of braking performance, if any. As long as u mix them with a nice brake pad, u shoul be fine. Unless u go with a fully cast bbk. I stuck with slotted from Rotora, and they perform very well :D

If you want braking performance, get some Axxis Ultimates. You will notice the difference right away... not only in performance but the increase in dust.

more dust = a good thing? lol good thing my wheels are gunmetal so they barely show dust haha

haha, more dust could be a good thing because it will motivate you to clean your car more often. (first)

If you want instant noticeable increase in braking performance then just go get some stainless brake lines. Nothing made more difference than those did. I've been rollin on Brembo C/S with Hawk HPSs for over 55k & still have 1/3 of pad left with plenty of rotor, nowhere near any performance loss vs. oem or non drilled or slotted. Have had nothing but superior modulation, very low dusting, no warpage, no noise after bedding in, no locking up, no caliper issues, no more money than replacing with oem, no nothing but stellar action. Might want different setup for hardcore track use but that's a different discussion......edit - I don't have delicate or conservative driving habits either.

I have the rotorworks D/S rotors on all 4 corners on my car. They seem to be perfectly fine for me. I bought the car with the rotors installed, so I can't compare them to stock, but my buddy said my car stops better than his mp3 does.
