Dried Gum on Bumper

Looks like our neighborhood vandal was at it again last night. As I'm out there washing my car, I notice some gum stuck on the front bumper cover and it's dried on. I got the mass of it off, but there's still quite a bit of gum dried on to the paint. What should I use to get this stuff off?

Goo Gone? Bug & Tar Remover? Cleaner Wax?

Goo gone is good, however, try using 3m adhesive remover, let it sit, dry and spray again. Agitate it with a paper towel(or your finger) and it should be easy to take off. After its all off use a type of polish to clean it off. Wax and wipe off for protection.
Good luck, Lanson

I actually know a perfect way to get rid of gum...I have to park under a tree and one day, it decided to spoog tree sap all over my car. Tree sap and gum are way too similar, goo gone didn't help much, rubbing alcohol worked like a charm, just get a rag and pour some onto it, then rub it in and rub it off =)

Goof Off is friggin deadly. We used some of that stuff at work to remove labels on a printer we are refurbishing and even in a ventilated room we were getting high and a pregnant woman had to leave.. Its so strong, I wouldnt suggest it for paint, it may eat away at it. Goo Gone is a little less strong, but rubbing alcohol may be what is safer and will work best IMO.

I used mine for hours and I didnt get the least bit high. I used it to remove the glue off my side moldings and it works like a charm when soaked in a terry cloth. Paint is still the same.
