looks like a lot of the improvement in your time was in your 60', which has a lot more to do with you than your mods.
I think a tune would do you a lot of good...

edit: looks like you red lighted on the 2nd run?

It wasn't a red light. The track reaction time starts at 0 for green. It confused me as well but a red light shows as a negative. I thought the same thing about my 60ft because now with the mounts and bushings a don't get tire hop anymore causing me to actually keep the throttle pinned the whole time.

I only ran my msp once and I ran a 15.2. Had a intake, fmic, motor mounts, and I think thats about it. They are definetly not the best car for drag times... I did get a vibrant exhaust and the difference was definetly noticeable so I'll post what I run now when I go to the track in a couple weeks. BTW the launch is always really important and with these you gotta ride the clutch enough to set you forward without the "lugging" that my untuned msp loves to do. If you dont ride clutch or ease into throttle it feels like you are pulling a trailer in 1st and this is how it felt when I ran the 15.2 lol.

My best run was with releasing the clutch quickly at about 4000rpm. I tried 3500rpm and riding the clutch a little but my 60ft suffered a lot. went from 2.21 to 2.32. I would definitely like to find a Dyno near hear to tune my ssafc though....

I was discussing this at a meet, and with that 60', it was raised that maybe your shifting slow? your trap speed and 60' indicates that the car can be faster to me.

you may want to try to keep the throttle partly open in shifts. if you shift fast enough you should only bounce the rev limiter once or twice and you'll maintain boost. a no-lift-shift box would probably improve your times, but part throttling (if done right) ends up with about the same net effect.

I believe that my bad 60' was due to my RH tire hopping like crazy. My 14.90 run was done with no tire hop. I figured that I must of had some water on my tire from the burnout box and it caused my tire to transfer from wet to dry tire causing the tire to hop slowing my 60'. I do let of the gas between shifts but in no way is my shifting slow. That's one of my good racing traits.

Well I am hoping to run the msp again this weekend so I will let you know how it goes. And how much of a difference did the ssafc make with it not being actually tuned? Just wondering because I am planning on getting one, but don't care to put a rediculous amount of money in the car as far as tuning and whatnot.

that is what my plan is as soon as I get my car back from the body shop, I can finally install my AEM UEGO and start datalogging and street tuning it

Tuning is vital when it comes to any car, unless you don't want it to run well.

I noticed a big difference when I installed the SSAFC using the supermap. I still have issues from 3k-4.5k with it being rich. I'm boosting good but feeling like there's a 500lb weight dragging behind me but drive-ability is better. Especially when I gas it starting at low rpm's. Just looking for a Wideband right now so I can tune.
